Toual II is an international oil and gas project implemented in the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
On 21 July 2025, SONATRACH SPA, ZANGAS Hoch-und Tiefbau GmbH and FILADA AG entered into a Hydrocarbon Contract for the Toual II perimeter. The project provides for exploration, assessment of reserves, field development, gas production and commercialization.
The project is implemented in accordance with Algerian Law No. 19-13 of 11 December 2019, governing hydrocarbon activities. The Contract was officially approved by Presidential Decree No. 25-294 of 10 November 2025.
